Objectives

To train men and women engaged in humanitarian services to improve and increase their potential to provide a qualitative service of high standard.

To offer both theoretical and practical know-how to those involved or interested in the technicalities and strategies of peace building through conflict mitigation and transformation.

To open avenues in the area of sustainable peace through psychological counselling, human rights and transitional justice and openness to the major religions and their value systems that promote peace through reconciliation.

Certificate Course in Conflict Transformation

  • 16th October, 2017– 21st October, 2017 (Intense Course)
  • 28th October, 2017 – 9th December, 2017 (only on Saturdays).

Entrance Requirements

  • The minimum entrance requirement is G.C.E. (A/L) or its equivalent.
  • Should write a two page essay (A4) on the intended purpose of following the course.
  • Should pay the course fee at the moment of registration.
  • Students who join the course should have a working knowledge of the English language. The student’s level of English will be assessed by a member of the Academic Staff. If the level is found to fall short of the requirement for the course, the student will be obliged to follow a one month course in an institute recommended by the Administration.
